Fen Zhu, PhDPostdoctoral Fellow
PhD, 2019, University of Wisconsin-Madison Fen joined the Davids Lab as a postdoctoral fellow in September 2020 upon completing 5-year predoctoral research and one-year postdoctoral research in Dr. Lixin Rui’s laboratory at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her thesis work primarily focused on understanding oncogenic signaling in diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL). In the Davids lab she is investigating cell death signaling through BH3 profiling and evaluating combination therapy for CLL and DLBCL. She hopes that through her research she will help uncover disease mechanisms and identify drug targets for CLL and DLBCL which can lead to better therapies for patients afflicted by these cancers. She brings to the Davids Lab her previous experience in lymphoma biology and sound lab skills in molecular and cell biology. In her spare time, she enjoys watching TV by herself, spending time with her family, hiking, and traveling to warmer places such as Florida and California. fen_zhu@dfci.harvard.edu |
