Lara Bencsics joined the Davids Lab in June 2025 after graduating from the University of Chicago with a degree in Biological Sciences and Psychology. At UChicago, Lara worked in a cancer metabolism lab and has experience with the BCL-2 family working in Tony Letai's lab over the summer.

In the Davids Lab, Lara studies CAR-NK cells in CLL and utilizes BH3 profiling to effectively design treatments.

In her free time, Lara enjoys watching sports (Go Celtics!), listening to music, and exploring Boston with her family.
