Welcome to the Davids Lab!

The last few years have witnessed a transformation in the approach to treating patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Yet for most patients, the disease remains incurable.  We are a translational research laboratory that studies patient samples from our clinical trials utilizing novel agents that are in development or recently approved.  We focus on interrogating the mitochondrial pathway of apoptosis through BH3 profiling to predict response and resistance to these treatments, with the goal to use this technique to guide therapeutic decisions and develop more effective treatments.
