Ritu Somayaji, B.S.Previous Research Technician
B.S. Biochemistry, 2023, University of Michigan Ritu Somayaji joined the Davids Lab in 2023 after completing her undergraduate at the University of Michigan. During her undergraduate, she worked in a head and neck cancer lab looking specifically at cancer stem cells. She was excited to investigate a different type of cancer in a more translational approach with the Davids Lab. As a research technician, Ritu studied the intrinsic apoptosis pathway in CLL cells using BH3 profiling. In her free time, Ritu loves to dance, travel, read and spend time with friends and family. |
