Jing Wang, PhDPostdoctoral Research Fellow
PhD, 2023, Washington State University Jing originally came from a historical city, Luoyang, in Henan province, China. After her master studies in Pharmaceutical Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology, she pursued the Ph.D. study in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Washington State University in the Northwest Area. During her Ph.D. training, Jing primarily worked on the investigation of new therapeutics treating advanced prostate cancer. Then she moved to the eastern coast and now she is a research fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute focusing on the translational studies in discovering new treatments for lymphoid malignancies. Jing joined the Davids Lab for her postdoctoral training in 2023. She brings to the Davids Lab with her experience and skills in cancer molecular biology and pre-clinical studies. In the Davids Lab, she is primarily working on evaluating the effect of new compounds or molecules on cell apoptosis in malignant lymphoma through BH3 profiling, and in vitro/vivo models. In her spare time, she likes outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, skiing, playing tennis, and spending time with her family and friends. |
